Appearance of the Atrial Fibrillation Indicator for early Detection
This device is able to detect atrial fibrillation (AFIB). This icon
indicates that atrial
fibrillation was detected during the measurement. If the AFIB symbol appears after having performed
a full blood pressure measurement episode (triplicate measurements), you are advised to wait for
one hour and perform another measurement episode (triplicate measurements). If the AFIB symbol
appears again, then you are advised to visit your doctor. If after repeated measurement the AFIB
symbol is no longer displayed there is no cause for concern. In such case it is recommended to
measure again the next day. Keep the arm still during measuring to avoid false readings. This device
may not detect atrial fibrillation in people with pacemakers or defibrillators.

If an error occurs during a measurement, the measurement is discontinued and a corresponding
error code is displayed

ERR 1
No pulse has been detected.
ERR 2
Unnatural pressure impulses influence the measurement result. Reason: The arm
was moved during the Measurement (Artifact).
ERR 3
The inflation of the cuff takes too long. The cuff is not correctly seated.
ERR 5
The measured readings indicated an unacceptable difference between systolic
and diastolic pressures. Take other reading following directions carefully. Contact
