5. Push the filter cap with new filter into position.

Caution:

Do not use cotton or any other material. Do not wash or clean the filter. Use only original

filters. Do not operate without a filter.

3. CARRYING OUT AEROSOL THERAPY

1. Turn the unit on by pressing the ON/OFF switch to start the treatment.

ATTENTION:

This device is for intermittent use: 30 min. ON/30 min. OFF.

2. Inhale the aerosol solution using the prescribed accessory in calm way. One should sit at

the table with one’s back upright, relaxed; otherwise you will constrict your respiratory pas-

sages and impair the effect of inhalation.

3. Turn the unit off and unplug it once the treatment has finished.

4. Clean the jet nebulizer and the devices as indicated in Cleaning and disinfection section.

Store the jet nebulizer and the devices into the unit’s lodging.

4. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

Important:

1. Wash all the pieces, except for the air filter, with warm water and detergent. Rinse with

warm tap water to remove the detergent.

2. Dip the pieces into a clean bowl containing 3 parts of warm water and 1 part of vinegar

during 30 minutes, disinfectant can also be used.

3. Wash your hands and take out the pieces from the disinfectant solution, rinse them with

warm tap water and leave them on an absorbent piece of paper.

4. Keep the pieces into a hermetic bag. Do not dry them with a towel.

5. Clean the outer surface with a dry piece of cloth.

•

Do not use any volatile fluid like alcohol or benzene.

•

The jet nebulizer and the devices must NOT be boiled.

•

The jet nebulizer has to be replaced if it is stuck by medication or other substances.

•

Under no circumstances will the unit be opened.
