of the flue pipe on the condition that the transitions in
section occur gradually.
If this last condition cannot be satisfied, the pipe may
be lined with stainless steel flexible piping with a dia-
meter of 150 to 250 mm, which is heat-resistant to
600°C before it can be converted into an air intake
pipe.
The flue pipe must be closed at the top and bottom
with the recommended flanges (mounting plates). The
bottom of the flue section must always be connected
to the appliance using a concentric duct section and
the prescribed roof outlet must always be mounted on
the outlet side.
The maximum allowable length, including the con-
nection section (resistance length), is 12 metres.
Every elbow of 90° corresponds to 1 metre of res-
istance length and every elbow up to 45° corresponds
to 0.5 metres of resistance length.
Floor and walls
The floor on which the appliance is placed must have suf-
ficient bearing capacity. The weight of the appliance is
given in the appendix “Technical Data appendix”.
Keep sufficient distance between the appliance
and combustible materials such as wooden walls
and furniture.
Carpets and rugs must be at least 80 cm away
from the fire.

Appliance features
The Astro4GA is a stand-alone closed gas stove. A
closed apparatus does not draw the combustion air
from the room in which the stove is placed but uses
outside air. The stove is connected to a combined air
intake/flue gas exhaust system. The stove can be con-
nected to a C11, C1 or C91-type chimney system.
The stove is fitted with a Muelink & Grol connection
collar for concentric ducts. Thanks to this concept, the
stove is suitable for the use in crack-free and well-insu-
lated homes.
Delivery of the stove includes a battery-operated wire-
less remote control with thermostat.
