Fitting the flue gas valve ope-
rating mechanism
1. Move the operating knob from the damper (3) to
the front of the heat exchanger if necessary. Use
the two screws (M6) for this (see fig.
09.20007.022).
2. Fit the mounting plate onto the operating knob.
3. Fit the front panel of the insulating cover to the fire-
place.
4. In the front panel, make an opening in the slot far-
thest away from the valve mechanism (see fig
09.20007.020).
5. Using a knife, cut a slot in the insulating sheet of
the front panel in the direction of the valve mecha-
nism for the operating cable.
Cut the slot in such a way that
you avoid sharp bends in the
valve operating cable.
6. Push the operating cable through the hole towards
the inside of the insulating cover.
7. Move the front panel of the insulating cover aside
so as to gain access to the heat exchanger again.
8. Set the flue gas valve (see no. 3 in fig.
09.20007.022) to be fully open with the operating
knob pressed in completely.

9. Fit the end of the outside cable (1) with the lever
provided (2) and the screws as near to the valve
mechanism as possible (3).
