I. SECONDARY PLANET SET ASSEMBLY

1. Insert the thrust plate (41-7) into the carrier

(41-4) along with the gears (41-2), bearings
(41-3), and thrust washers (41-6).

2. Being careful to line up the thrust washers

(41-6) and bearings (41-3) with the planet
pins (41-5), press the pins into the carrier.

3. Replace the retaining rings (41-4).

If the pins are not lined up
properly, the thrust washer
can be shattered during
the pressing operation.
