Model 9610 Dispenser Mechanism Installation

PURPOSE
The following procedure assumes you are installing a
Model 9610 dispensing mechanism into a Model 9600
ATM chassis.
PARTS SUPPLIED
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1.
Open the ATM control panel and ensure the power
switch (on the power supply panel) is set to the
OFF (0) position.
2.
Unlock and open the security cabinet door. Extend
the slide tray fully. Set the 9610 dispenser onto the
tray. Turn the dispenser so that the rear of the unit
(where the power and data cable connectors are
located) may be accessed.
3.
Locate the DC Power and EJ-to-Dispenser (Data)
cables. Connect the cables to the mating
connectors located on the back of the dispenser.
NOTE: Make sure the white strain clip on the
DC Power Cable is pointing down. Make sure
the thumbscrews on the EJ-to-Dispenser cable are
tightened.
4.
Turn the dispenser around with the cables facing
the back of the cabinet and align the tabs and holes
in the bottom of the dispenser with the mounting
holes in the tray. Attach the dispenser to the tray
using four included 3/8-inch (9 mm) Pan Head
Phillips Screws (two on each side).
