Within the AssuredSAN 4004 Series product line, the 2U12 and 2U24 chassis can be configured as
either a controller enclosure or a drive enclosure for adding storage. These enclosures look very similar to
one another. For a given from factor (2U12 or 2U24) only the IOM geometry differs: either it is a controller
module or an expansion module. The remaining FRUs for a given chassis are common.
Within the AssuredSAN 4004 Series product line, the high-capacity 2U48 chassis is supported as an
expansion enclosure (J6G48) for adding storage to 2U12 or 2U24 controller enclosures.
