security and disturb the on-board telecommunication system. Furthermore, the
use of these devices might be forbidden by law.
Care and maintenance
Your telephone is a technically advanced product and it must be handled with
utmost care. Negligent behaviour may lead to loss of warranty.
• Protect the device from humidity. Rain/snow and all types of liquid may con-
tain substances that lead to corrosion of the electronic system. If the device
gets wet, remove the rechargeable battery and let the device dry completely
before you insert the battery again.
• Do not store the device in dusty, dirty environments. The moveable device
components and the electronic system might get damaged.
• Protect the device from heat. High temperatures may reduce the lifespan of
the electronic system, damage the rechargeable battery and deform plastic
parts or even cause them to melt.
• Protect the device from cold. While warming up to normal temperatures,
condensation may form inside the device which can damage the electronic
system.
• Do not attempt to open the device in a way other than described in this
manual.
• Do not drop the device. Protect it from blows, jolts and vibrations. If the
device is handled improperly, conductors and precision-mechanical parts
might be damaged.
• Do not clean the device with abrasive cleaning agents. These notes apply to
the device, the rechargeable battery, the network adapter and other acces-
sories. If the telephone does not work properly, please contact your retailer.
Bring along your sales receipt or a copy of the invoice.
