Creating and sending MMS
MMS may contain text and media objects such as images or sound recordings.
Therefore, both you and the recipient need the mobile radio option for MMS and
also a mobile phone which supports sending and receiving of MMS. The setting
parameters for MMS are preset by the large network providers in Germany. With
other mobile radio communication providers these parameters must be modified
manually, if and where required. Contact your provider regarding the parameters
required for this.
For this, select
Menu
->
Connectivity
->
Data accounts
. Select the data
account suitable for your provider or adjust it to the settings of your network pro-
vider with
Options
and
Edit
. Only your network provider will be able to give you
the data necessary for this. After editing press
Options
and then
Save
. After-
wards you can return to the start screen using the
key. If your provider is
not in the list, see page 36, for setting your MMS account.
1. Press

, scroll to
Messaging
and press
OK
.
2. Select
Multimedia message
and press
OK
.
3. Enter the message, see
Entering text
, p. 10, then press
Options
.
4. Add additional elements to your message using the
Add picture
,
Add
sound
,
Add subject
options.
Under
Input method
select between En (Upper-case letter at the beginning
of sentence), EN (capitalisation), en (lower-case letters) and Numeric
(numerical entry).
With
Preview MMS
, you can preview the MMS; with the
Slide options
, you
can add slides before/after and set their time control; under
Advanced
, you
can add an attachment or with
Save to Drafts
, save the MMS in the drafts
folder for later use.
5. Select
Send to
and, using
Add from Phonebook
, search for an already
existing recipient from the telephone book and press
OK
.
Alternatively, you can also select
Enter recipient
and press
OK
to manually
add a recipient and then press
OK
.
