Preventive Maintenance and Adjustment
1. Remove the plastic cap on the end of the motor and
remove the socket head screw
(Figure 65, item 1) and
the bore plug (Figure 65, item 2) .

2. Remove the lower gearhead mounting bar
(Figure 66, item 1) from the motor mounting bracket
(Figure 66, item 2) . Remove spacer
(Figure 66, item 3) .
3. Remove the upper gearhead mounting bar
(Figure 66, item 4) from the motor mounting bracket
(Figure 66, item 2) .

4. Slide the gearmotor (Figure 67, item 1) off of the drive
spindle (Figure 67, item 2) .

5. Remove the drive spindle key (Figure 68, item 1) from
the drive spindle keyway (Figure 68, item 2) .

6. Remove the pull pin (Figure 69, item 1) .

7. Slide the drive tail assembly out of the take up blocks
(Figure 70) .

8. Slide the motor support bracket (Figure 70, item 1) off
the drive spindle (Figure 70, item 2) .
9. Remove the sprockets (Figure 70, item 3) .
