Preparing Child Restraint

Backrest to Seat Base

Assembly

Place child restraint on the

floor.
Rotate seat back to the

upright position with one

hand while holding the

harness straps away from

child restraint with the

other hand.

Align the seat back locks

with the holes in the seat

base.

From the front of the child

restraint, with one hand,

make sure seat base pad is

out of the way of the seat

back locks. Grasp seat

back with the other hand

and push down evenly and

firmly until it locks into

place. Pull up on seat back

to make sure it is locked.

Set headrest aside.
Pull seat pad over both

cup holders.
