Setting SMS alert for opening and/or closing of relay (ON/OFF)
Send to GSMC2G SIM card number: pwd GON ab # text_sms # - It enables SMS alert when the relay is
switched on (ON).
Send to GSMC2G SIM card number:
pwd GOFF ab # text_sms # - It enables SMS alert when the relay is
switched off (OFF).

pwd = current password

GON = command for enabling alert of switching on (ON)

GOFF = command for enabling alert of switching (OFF)

text_sms = SMS text of the warning/alert (eg "open gate", "closed gate", etc.)

ab = SMS recipients:

Example: to the command 1234GON11#Porta Aperta!# sent by the administrator, the GSMC2G will reply
with a message: “Relay ON will return SMS: Porta Aperta!”.
From that moment on, the user in position 001 and the calling number will receive a SMS message with
"Porta Aperta" whenever the relay is activated (ON).


Default setting is that none of the two numbers receive an alert message (ab = 00).
Send to GSMC2G SIM card number:
pwd GON## - It disables SMS alert when the relay is switched off (OFF).
Send to GSMC2G SIM card number: pwd GOFF## - It disables SMS alert when the relay is switched off (OFF).
Enquiring status of the relay at the time of the request (ON or OFF)
Send to GSMC2G SIM card number:
pwd EE

pwd = current password

EE = command for enquiring relay status
GSMC2G will send a SMS text message with OFF o ON, according to the status. Example: “Relay OFF; GSM
Signal Value: 26”.

Signal Value is the strength of the GSM signal: 31 = maximum signal, <14 = weak signal.
