CAUTION
Read this manual carefully and completely before using the appliance.
Use an earthed electrical plug socket.
Remove any stickers.
Wash all loose parts except the heating base in soapy water and dry thoroughly.
Do not use sharp objects in the wok or other pans. You could damage the non-stick
layer.
Touch only the food with cooking utensils.
Make sure that the unit is placed on a flat level surface. Do not place on a gas stove.
Never immerse the heating base, electric lead or plug in water or any other liquid.
Pull the plug from the socket when not in use. The heating base and other components
can get very hot.
Never place the appliance on the edge of a table where it could easily tip over.
If using an extension lead/cable make sure that you place it in a safe way so that
nobody can trip over it.
Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
The wok/fondue set is only suitable for indoor household use.
Do not move the appliance if the base or the contents of the pan are still hot.
Parts of this set contain a non-stick layer based on PTFE.
When these are heated, a small amount of gas is released
This gas is completely harmless to humans, but the nerve center of birds appears to be
sensitive to this. So do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of birds.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Plug the appliance in to the electric socket and adjust the thermostat to the desired
temperature.
It may take several minutes before the appliance reaches the desired temperature. In
the meantime, you can prepare the ingredients.
The temperature light will go out when the required temperature is
reached.
The light may go on and off during use to indicate that the
thermostat is working properly and is keeping the contents at the
right temperature.
After use, unplug from the electric socket and allow the parts to
cool before cleaning and storing.
FONDUE
Thanks to the adjustable temperature you can prepare different kinds of fondue in
several different fondue pans: meat fondue, cheese fondue, chocolate fondue or
original Chinese fondue (stock).
Fill the pan with the desired content (oil, cheese, chocolate or stock) and put it on
the heating base. Make sure the pan is not too full and respect the minimum and
