1. Connect the battery connector to the controller (fig.
6
).
2. Connect the positive solar panel connector to the controller (fig.
4
).
3. Connect the negative solar panel connector to the controller (fig.
5
).
4. Insert the fuse (fig.
8
) and turn on the circuit breakers.
When the controller is connected to the battery bank, it will start a power-up sequence which takes several seconds
to complete.The readiness of the controller is indicated by a LED signal (see chapter “LED indications” on page 9).

When the solar panel is exposed to light, it supplies a DC voltage to the solar charge
controller.
