5.2
SECURITY FUNCTIONS AND ERROR DETECTION
In controller board are build several security functions in hardware and software level.
Functions are active all the time to check if there is something wrong. In this case appropriate
security procedure is taken.
5.2.1 ROTOR BRAKING AT SWITCH ON TIME
In case that rotor is turning in switch on time (power fail recovery for example) braking is
activated until rotor stops. After that, cover mechanism is loosen and cover can be opened.
5.2.2 COVER
BLOCKING
Safety cover mechanism disable cover opening if rotor is in motion. Opening is enabled
only if rotor stops and there is mains supply present of course.
5.2.3 ROTOR
IMBALANCE
If rotor or buckets are incorrect loaded or unbalanced, sensor detect swinging and activates
braking procedure until rotor stops.
5.2.4 ROTOR
IDENTIFICATION
After each start rotor identification is made and then short beep is activated. In case that set
speed is greater than allowed for recognized type of rotor, speed is automatically limited according
to level for this type. Graphics symbol for rotation blinks.
5.2.5 MOTOR
FAILURE
In operating time motor behavior is observing. If there is any deviation from normal motor
is switch off and error message is displayed.
5.3 ERRORS
Error detection is equipped with appropriate message on display or light and sound
indicator.
Light indicators:
COVER:
Light indicator blinks if cover is opened. Start is disabled. Short beep and
"ERROR"
message warns operator on failure
IMBALANCE:
Light indicator blinks if sensor detect rotor swinging.
"ERROR 3"
is
displayed and braking is activated.

Triac is defective ( open)

Opto sensor is defective

Error during braking process

Acceleration too fast ( no rotor mounted)
