OIL PUMP

General

The oil pump is driven by the clutch drum.

Lugs

on the clutch drum transfer power to the arms

on the oil pump drive

. The drive worm of the oil

pump drive engages in the teeth of the oil pump
piston

.

This means that oil is supplied only when the saw
chain is moving.

The oil pump is attached to the crankcase with 2
Torx screws
