Symptom Check
[ERROR]
appears when a
command is
entered Verify that you entered a correct AT
command.
Check the properties of the terminal
software to see whether a device other than
the FOMA terminal is selected.
[OK] does not
appear after an
AT command is
entered Check the L-05A Communication
Configuration Files (Drivers) have been
installed and functioned properly.
Verify that the commands start with "AT" or
"at".
Symptom Check
New hardware
detection
screen
appears If "セットアップウィザードへようこそ (Welcome
to Setup Wizard)" does not appear, and the
input of driver is required, cancel it temporarily.
Remove FOMA terminal from USB port and
insert again.
※PC configuration may cause installation
failed. In this case, install from CD-ROM.
Symptom Check
The terminal
stopped working
suddenly Verify that the FOMA CARD is properly
inserted to FOMA terminal.→P73
Your PC operating environments may have
changed because a new peripheral or
software was installed. Make a confirmation
with manufacturer or maker of accessory or
software.
The FOMA
terminal is not
detected if it is
inserted into a
USB port while
installing the
L-05A
Communication
Configuration
Files (Drivers) Please confirm the followings.

Whether the PC or OS you are using is in
the latest condition?
(If required, apply revision program of OS or
a maker.)

Whether the FOMA terminal recognizes
normally when other USB devices are
inserted into the USB port?

Whether the FOMA terminal operates
normally when being inserted into another
PC?
• Whether the FOMA terminal operates
normally when being reset to its default?

Microsoft or PC manufactures.
Internet
connection
speed
decreased
significantly For inserting the FOMA terminal directly to
a PC, connect it by "USB extension cable"
and keep it away from PC.
Deterioration of performance may occur to
the service areas where W-CDMA/HSDPA/
GSM network are unstable. In this case,
move to other area and try to connect again.
