Wi-Fi
You can perform Internet connection using Wi-Fi in Access point
mode or Client mode.

The FOMA terminal is compatible with wireless LAN standards
of IEEE802.11b and IEEE802.11g. Base unit and client device
should be compatible with the same standard to connect.

Note that using Wi-Fi makes battery consumption faster.

Radio wave interference with Bluetooth device
Bluetooth device and Wireless LAN (IEEE802.11b/g) use the same
frequency band (2.4GHz). If you use the terminal near a Bluetooth
device, reception interference may occur. It may cause lower speed
of communication, noise or connection problem. Also, streaming
data play may be interrupted in the communication or the voice
sound may be jumbled. In this case, turn off Bluetooth device or
leave the FOMA terminal or Wi-Fi device from the Bluetooth device
more than 10 m.
In FOMA area, you can use the FOMA terminal as access point
(Base unit) of Wi-Fi to enjoy a versus game etc. on Wi-Fi device
(Sub unit).

This function is unavailable when the UIM is not inserted or the
FOMA service is canceled or suspended.

preventing improper use. The same security method should be set
between the FOMA terminal and Wi-Fi device.
