remove harness from
splitter plate.

harness slots from the

new harness slot location.
Make sure harness does
not twist.

splitter plate. Make sure
harness does not twist.

Lower headrest so slots in
shell match slots in
headrest. Thread harness
straps into headrest pad.

Place child in child
restraint.

Harness covers help
provide comfort to the
neck. For harness covers
to fit correctly, you may
have to fit the upper ends
of the covers through the
harness slots. To remove
the harness covers,
unthread the harness from
splitter plate (see
“Removal of Harness”
section). Slide covers off
harness and refasten
harness to splitter plate.
