Installation Instruction
JVT Series LED Vapor Tight Jelly Jar
WALL MOUNT INSTALLATION
1.
Attach fixture to junction box using appropriate hardware for the
mounting surface. Mounting hardware not included.
2.
Remove gasket inside LED Housing and remove screw closest to
mounting surface.
3.
Loosen other screw and rotate LED Housing 180 degrees so that
the four Mounting Housing screws are easily accessible. See
Rotated View below.
DO NOT PINCH WIRES WHILE ROTATING.
4.
Tighten LED Housing screw to ensure that no components fall.
5.
Remove the four Mounting Housing screws and make wiring
connections inside Mounting Housing.
6.
Make wiring connections inside the Mounting Housing as per
the wiring instruction.
CEILING/ PENDENT MOUNT INSTALLATION
1.
Attach fixture to junction box using appropriate hardware for the mounting surface.
2.
Remove gasket inside LED Housing
3.
Remove one screw in LED housing and loosen the remaining screw.
4.
Rotate LED Housing 180 degrees and tighten the remaining screw. See Rotated View below.
DO NOT PINCH WIRES WHILE ROTATING.
5.
Tighten LED Housing screw to ensure that no components fall.
6.
Make wiring connections inside the Mounting Housing as per the wiring instruction.
WIRING
1.
Wire input end of the LED driver to supply wires
using waterproof wire nut (provided) according to
wiring section. Wire connections must be insulated
and waterproof.
2.
Connect the BLACK/BROWN lead to LINE (+)
supply lead.
3.
Connect the WHITE/BLUE lead to
NEUTRAL/COMMON (-) supply lead.
4.
Connect the GREEN lead to GROUND supply lead.
5.
If any, connect PURPLE/BLUE to 0-10V SIGNAL
supply lead and GREY/WHITE to 0-10V
NEUTRAL/REFERENCE supply lead.
GLOBE AND GUARD INSTALLATION
1.
Re-mount fixture using Philips Head screws removed
in mounting step. Make sure all gaskets must be
seated properly and all screws inserted and tightened
firmly.
2.
Return all components to their original positions after wiring connections have been made. Prior to tightening all
screws, make sure all wires are contained in wire ways and no wires are pinched.
3.
Before globe is installed, check to make sure that gasket is replaced in LED Housing and gasket exists above
threads on the Globe.
4.
Screw Globe onto fixture, do not over tighten but be sure that the gaskets are being compressed.
5.
Place Guard over the lens, rotate clockwise and secure with set screws.
6.
Turn on power.
NOTE: Make sure all gaskets are positioned correctly with no gaps to ensure that leakage will not occur.
