FM13V/FM13X Operator’s Manual

Controls - 21

Power Unit

2.

Secondary fuel shutoff 
valve

To allow fuel flow, open valve 
(move left/right).

To shut off fuel flow, close 
valve (move left/right).

Fuel shutoff is automatic on electric 
start units.

3.

Choke

To help start cold engine, 
close valve.

4.

Throttle  

To increase engine speed, 
move left.

To decrease engine speed, 
move right.

5.

Battery disconnect 
switch 

To connect, move up.

To disconnect, move down.

Only on electric start units.
