Once removed from the packaging, the Disney Infi nity Base (pictured
below) needs to be placed on a stable, secure and even surface near the
PlayStation
®
3 computer entertainment system. Do not place on metal
surfaces, or have metallic objects nearby.

Plug the USB cable from the Disney Infi nity Base into an available USB
connector on the front of your PlayStation
®
3 system.

Use the power button on the front of the PlayStation
®
3 system to power ON
the PlayStation
®
3 system. This will also power up the Disney Infi nity Base.

Insert the Disney Infi nity game software disc into the PlayStation
®
3 system
in order to launch the game.

In Play Sets, place up to two circular power discs under a Disney Infi nity
Figure on the

spots to power up character abilities.
In Toy Box, place up to two circular power discs under a Disney Infi nity
Figure on the

spots to power up character abilities. You can also
unleash new gadgets and customize your Toy Box by placing up to three
hexagonal power discs on the

spot.
Place the Disney Infi nity Figure on the circular
spots (

B
) on the Base to unlock the
character in the game. The Disney Infi nity
Figure, along with the Play Set piece placed
on the hexagonal spot (
C
), will unlock the
corresponding play set in the game. As an
example, place Sulley and the Starter Pack
Play Set piece on the Base to unlock the
Monsters University Play Set.
