Installation Considerations
•
All receivers must have MPEG-4 support (ViP-series receivers).
•
Provides additional peaking controls for easier installation and peaking.

Azimuth Cam provides fine-tuning of the azimuth angle.

Elevation Rod provides fine-tuning of the elevation angle and additional installation stability.

Nuts and bolts on the dish should be tightened using a torque wrench in a specific order. Follow the manufacturer’s
instructions for the correct order.
•
When tightening the azimuth bolts, do not tighten the Azimuth Cam.
•
After peaking on 72.7°, confirm signal on 61.5° and 77°.
•
The 1000.4 dish antenna uses the same mast and foot as the DISH 500+.
•
Mast clamp includes a gripping feature that provides additional installation stability.
•
LNBF Arm has a specific installation orientation, indicated by labeling “Top” and “To LNBF”.
•
Antenna dimensions: 27.8”W x 22.3”H.
