Use volume control on radio to set the playback level.
Warning!
Playlist and Track selection are *NOT* possible from the
Radio. You must use the audio devices built-in controls to access audio
files.
To listen to CD Changer simply disconnect audio device
from jack
and
operate multi-disc changer as customary

If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall Changer.
ALERT
:
1. To listen to CD Changer, you must disconnect audio device from jack (jack
must be empty); otherwise CD playback will be impaired.
2. FM Modulated multi-disc Changer (e.g. Model 16242985), Alpine, Kenwood
and others installed to factory radio with an adapter are NOT compatible.
Frequent asked questions

Does the AUX-GM2 work without multi-disc Changer?
NO;
A working multi-disc Changer is required
otherwise the AUX-GM2
will NOT work. GM FM Modulated CD Changers are also not compatible.
2.
My vehicle does no have a multi-dis changer, What device must I
purchase to create an AUX input?
Most 1995-05 GM without CD Changers requires our
(C5) auxiliary input adapters.
3.
Why is my CD Changer playing very low and distorted?
Make sure Audio plug (See
Fig. 8
) is disconnected from jack (jack must be
empty) otherwise CD changer playback is impaired.
4.
My CD Changer is broken; will the AUX-GM2 work?
NO;
the CD Changer must be in working condition
. (able to play CD’s)
5.
Will I be able to use the Speakerphone option on my phone?
It may be possible to enter speakerphone mode on smartphone to hear
callers voice on car speaker. This option is limited to smartphone not this
cable.
6.
Does this cable degrade the sound from my device?
NO
; What comes in is what goes out to the radio. Check device volume level.
