Introduction:
If your 1995-05 GM has a working
multi-disc remote CD Changer
(See
Fig. 1
),
but no input for Smartphone, iPod, Tablet etc. the AUX-GM2 is for you! The AUX-
GM2 provides an input jack without having to buy a new radio or replace the 12-
disc Changer. The input jack can be used to connect and play portable audio
devices (e.g. Smartphone, iPod, MP3 etc.) while retaining the rest of the system.
Keep in mind
the AUX-GM2 only works in vehicles with a working
multi-disc
Changer
**
usually installed in armrest, glove box, trunk or hatch (See
Fig. 1)
Vehicles
without multi disc-Changer
requires
(Corvette) auxiliary input adapters.
GM FM modulated multi-disc Changes (e.g. model 1624298), Alpine or anything
other than factory changer is not compatible.
