Stopping the Engine
1. Disengage the blades by pushing the blade control knob down.
2. Move the throttle control lever all the way down to the IDLE
position and turn the key to STOP (see Figure 10).
3. Remove the key for safety. The key has a pressure lock that
prevents it from vibrating loose during operation. To remove the
key, push it in and then quickly and firmly pull it out. If the key
becomes difficult to remove, apply a non-conductive lubricant
into the keyhole.
Engaging the Blades
1. Engage the blades by pulling up on the blade control knob.
2. Pushing down on the blade control knob disengages the blades.
