Cleaning the central laminar filter

4 Filters
The cylinder vacuum cleaner has the following filters:
- Central laminar filter (Fig. 19/1)
Is used to filter out the fine dust particles.
Clean: every 2 months
- Protective motor filter (Fig. 19/2)
If the central laminar filter is defective, it prevents
larger particles from destroying the motor.
Check: every 6 months
- Hygienic blow-out filter (Fig. 19/3)
Filters out the fine particles from the blow-out air.
Replace: every 6 months

The filters can become blocked after some time and can
thereby reduce the suction power. It is therefore important
that the abovementioned intervals are adhered to.
If you determine that a filter is damaged then replace it
immediately.
4.1 Cleaning the central
laminar filter
1. Switch the appliance off and observe the instructions
under
Z Chapter 3.2, "Switching off and retracting the
power cable" .
2. Empty the dust container,

Chapter 3.4, "Emptying the
dust container" .
3. Pull the central laminar filter (Fig. 20/1) up out of the
dust container (Fig. 20/2).
4. For a rough clean, hold the central laminar filter over a
dustbin. Then knock it gently against all sides.
ATTENTION:
The filters are not suitable for machine washing.

NOTE:
If the central laminar filter is dirty, then rinse it thoroughly
with a shower head (Fig. 21). Do not use any brushes for
this.
Then leave the filter to dry (approx. 15 hours at room
temperature). Only use it again when it is completely dry.
