20" Optional Wheels
The chair has a detachable 20" wheel set. To
attach the wheels:
• Engage all four caster locks prior to attaching
the wheels.
• Push down on the adjustment lever located
on the wheel-mounting bracket to elevate
the sleeve where the wheel will attach
(Figure 9)

• Once elevated, press the quick-release pin
located in the center of the wheel and insert
into the sleeve.
• Release the adjustment lever.
To remove the wheels:
• Engage all four caster locks prior to
removing the wheels.
• Push down on the adjustment lever located on the
wheel-mounting bracket to elevate the wheel.
• Push the quick-release pin located in the center
of the wheel and remove the wheel from the
mounting bracket
(Figure 10)

• Release the adjustment lever.

WARNING:
Always engage the caster wheel locks
when attaching or removing the wheels.
•
WARNING:
To ensure safety, the caregiver should
become proficient with attaching and removing the wheels
prior to using the chair.
•
WARNING:
When transferring a user into and out of
the chair, remove the wheel on the side of the transfer
before conducting a lateral transfer.
