2. Installing or removing saw chain

Always be sure that the tool is switched oﬀ and the battery cartridge

is removed before installing or removing the saw chain.

Always wear gloves when installing or removing the saw chain.

�

Loosen the screw by turning counterclockwise until the sprocket cover

comes oﬀ. Remove the sprocket cover.Remove saw chain and guide

plate from the tool.
