OPERATOR INSTALLATION
To carr y out a proper installation of the operator par ts
as well as to ensure the best automation per formance,
the measurement levels shown in the following table
shall be complied with.
Change the gate structure to adapt it to one of the fol-
lowing cases, if necessar y.

In order to correctly mount actuators onto the gate,
carefully follow the directions below:
•
Mark pillars with the most significant A and B mea
surements.
• Fasten brackets 5 to pillars and position operators
onto them.
• Inser t pin 6 into the hole and lock it at both ends by
placing the two seegers 7 into the specially made
grooves.
ALL TIME DURING THESE OPERATIONS, AVOID LEAVING
THE ACTUATOR LOOSE; this must be kept horizontally
and not being left hanging from one single point.
• Mount bracket 8 onto the clamp cylinder 9 as
shown in figure.
• Mount the two plastic washers 10 onto bracket 8;
use some grease in order to secure them in place
and prevent any drifts and drops when mounting
clamp cylinder 9.
• Position bracket 8 into the clamp cylinder 9 with pla
stic washers 10, lining bores up.
CAUTION! THE CLAMP CYLINDER HAS A MOUNTING
SIDE: THE HEXAGONAL SEAT SHOULD BE PLACED
BELOW.
• Place nut 11 in its own seat (lower side), position
washer 12 on screw 13, mount screw 13, screw it
loose.
• Extract the actuator rod 1 completely, by unscrewing
it manually; at its end stop, screw it one turn on.
• Inser t clamp cylinder 9 onto actuator rod 1 (nut in
low position) and place it 1,5 cm from the rod head.
• Lock the gate at its closing stop in the center,
position the actuator horizontally onto the shutter,
locate the two bores of bracket 8 on the shutter,
and secure the bracket.
• Loose screw 13 on clamp cylinder 9. This runs all
the length of the actuator rod and makes it possible
to check for the complete opening of the shutter.
This check should only be made to simulate an
emergency manual opening, in case of a power or
automatism failure.
• Close it back, lock the gate, and tight screw 13 on
clamp cylinder 9.
