Overdrive/Preamp 250
This model reproduces the classic tone
of the DOD
®
Overdrive/Preamp 250. It
delivers a punchy overdrive effect
typical of the legendary guitar sounds
of the mid-seventies. MODEL 2 is
great for pushing the front end of your
tube amps and is a key element of
many players’ tone.
For this model, the
DF-7’s GAIN and
LEVEL knobs function like the DOD
250’s Gain and Level controls,
respectively.The DF-7 also features
separate LOW , MID , MID FREQ ,
and HIGH controls giving you added
EQ flexibility so you can customize the
model to your desired taste.
Set the DF-7’s LOW , MID , MID
FREQ , HIGH , and GAIN knobs to
the 12 O’Clock position to accurately
reproduce this pedal model.
When this model is selected, the
CIT
cabinet model used in Flexible
Output Modes 1 and 2 is based on
a Marshall
®
* 4x12 cabinet.
