DEVICE

The Device setup menu allows the administrator to configure the Camera, Audio, Sensor, Alarm,
Controller and PTZ.

3.2.1

Camera

The [CAMERA] tab enables user to change camera settings. Users can change Title, Covert and

Motion Area Setting for each camera.

Select a

CAMERA

from the drop down menu.

Using the virtual keyboard, modify the

CAMERA’S NAME

(default is Channels’ number).

COVERT

: This function, also called “hidden camera,” hides the camera display as if there

were no camera recording. Covert applies to both Live and Playback View.

MOTION ZONE

: Select Full (the entire camera’s view) or Partial zone. Default motion

detection zone is set to full.

MOTION ZONE SETUP

: You can setup only part of the screen to motion detection. This

option is enabled only if Motion Zone is set to Partial.
