Verifying Ports
To verify operation of each port, follow the steps below.
1.
Connect a terminal to the port to be tested.
2.
Press the Return key two or three times to set the (autobaud) operating speed
of the port.
3.
Type a character on the terminal and observe each Port Activity LED for
a reaction. The Port Activity LED should turn on, indicating that the
corresponding port is in use. Additional characters should then cause the
LED to blink.
