The food is lukewarm/cold
The S-bottle warmer is set to a temperature of 37 °C *. This may
seem cold, but the temperature was chosen for the safety of your
baby. For you this may feel lukewarm/cold because your own body
temperature is higher. 37 °C * Is the ideal drinking temperature for
your baby. The bottle may feel colder on the outside, but the food in
the bottle is at the right temperature
You should not feel the drop on the inside of your wrist, depending
on your own body temperature (37°C)
A vacuum is created in the S-bottle
This may be because the O-ring valve
B
is closed or blocked.
Press open the raised section of the valve between two fingers
before inserting the O-ring and make sure that the raised section is
sticking upwards
The blockage may also be due to dirt or calcification. In that case,
we advise you to clean and dry the O-ring valve after use to avoid
e.g. calcification

The S-bottle heater will beep continuously
The feed placed in the bottle heater may be too hot (>50°C)
The contact rings of heating element
C
are damp
The S-bottle warmer is taking a very long time to switch of
This may be due to the feed´s starting temperature. Food that has
only just been taken out of the fridge will be colder, so the S-bottle
warmer will take longer to reach the correct temperature
There may be lime scale on the heating element containing the
temperature system. This means that heat cannot escape or that the
meter does not register the correct temperature. It is important to
clean the element thoroughly after each use and descale regularly
(once every 3 months) for optimal operation. If the problem persists
after cleaning, contact the Difrax customer service
The food is getting too hot
Before serving, always check the temperature of the food. Test a
few drops on the inside of your wrist. You should not feel the drop.
If you do, the feed is either too warm or too cold
If the food is too hot, the temperature meter on the heating
element
C
may be calcified. This means that heat cannot escape or
that the meter is not registering the correct temperature.
It is important to clean the element thoroughly after each use and
descale regularly for optimal operation.
