The big market switch settings are for using the interface 1110 with the MMI system and to control Dietz DVD
player by the system buttons.
ATTENSION: for setup the DIP switches the interface must be current less!
Electrical Connections
Build out the LVDS control unit (hand clove not for A5, A5: behind clima
control) and disconnect first plug

of the LVDS control unit and than plug

. The orange wire (
MMI
) of Interface 1110 cable kit must be connected
with Pin 16 of the red plug from the LVDS control unit. Connect plug

of
the car to “LVDS out” of 1110 and use LVDS cable of the interface to
connect “LVDS in” with the MMI control unit.
The loose wires S1(orange), S2 (white) and S3 (brown) are not in use!
When installation is due to the ESD security DIN EN 61340-5-2 and
DIN EN 61340-5-1 is ensured.
Use the interface 1551 for full range stereo input. Alternatively you can use FM-modulator 1361.
