Headphone Jack

Visually impaired consumers can plug headphones into a jack on the fascia to
receive voice guidance (see Figure 2-1). The fascia speakers are turned OFF
when the headphone jack is being used.

Identiﬁcation Card Scanner

The identiﬁcation card scanner is located adjacent to the consumer keypad. It
scans ID documents with a bank card format.

ActivEdge Card Reader

The ActivEdge card reader reads data from magnetic cards, IC cards, and smart
(EMV) chip cards when the card is inserted long edge ﬁrst. The LEDs ﬂash red
if the card is inserted short edge ﬁrst.
