5 Device overview

5.1 Device types

The CINEO C4060 (RM4H) is an automated teller machine which has been
designed for indoor installation. The device is equipped with a safe and
with different components.

5.1.1 Frontload device

In this device type, the support/maintenance tasks are carried out from
the front of the device. The dialog necessary for this takes place via the
customer monitor (also referred to as "LCD monitor" in the following
section), the keypad and the function keys on the customer panel or the
touch screen or the external control unit in the operating unit,
respectively.

5.1.2 Rearload device

In this device type, the support/maintenance tasks are carried out from
both the front and the rear of the device. The necessary dialog takes place
via an operator panel in the operating unit or via the customer monitor
(also designated LCD monitor in the following section) and the function/
touch keys on the customer panel.
