18.2 Replacing the accumulator

Each battery has a limited service life. It should be replaced no later than every five years.

CAUTION

First, take care to ensure that the device is switched off and that the supply voltage plug is
pulled out.

Remove the cable cover at the rear of the housing. Disengage the two knurled screws at the rear and lift
the housing cover slightly. Pull the cover off the housing towards the rear. Disengage the battery cable.
