Clean the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth or with soap and water; if you use detergents,
make sure they contain no CHLORATES or ABRASIVES, then wash with water and dry
thoroughly.
Clean the enamelled surfaces with soap and water only.
8.3
TURNING THE OVEN BURNER ON AND OFF
Lighting:
The oven burner is fed by a ther mostatic cock with a safety val ve and by a pilot burner.
8.3.1 Instructions for using the oven
’s thermostatic cock
To light the burner, connected to the cock, press the knob
until it stops and then turn it in the direction indicated by
the arrow until it reaches the
“PILOT” position
(Fig. 1).
Press the knob ri ght down and, hol ding it down, light
the pilot burner.
When it is lit, keep the knob pressed for at least 15 seconds .
When you let it go the pilot should stay ali ght.
Repeat the operat ion if this is not the case.
Once you have let go of the knob and the
pilot is lit, turn the knob agai n until it clicks " ",
the main burner lights (fig. 2).
Turn the knob agai n to choose
the temperature you want ( fig. 3).
Remember that the large flame position (maximum
capacity) represents the ma ximum temperature and that
small flame position represents the mi nimum
temperature.
In order to switch the main burner off, turn the knob in
a clockwise direction until reaching the position,
without placing any excessi ve force on the knob ( fig. 4).
Then press the knob down and turn to the PILOT
position
.
To turn off compl etely press again
and turn it until It stops
.
