NOTE
The air brake lever is arrested when the air brakes are
extended half way. With slightly increased force, this posi-
tion can be overtraveled in either direction. With the air
brakes locked in the half-extended position, it is possible to
control the glide path with the throttle control. The maxi-
mum airspeed for air brakes fixed in the half-extended
position (v
ABF
) must not be exceeded.
