Award BIOS Setup Utility

3.1.3 Chipset Features Setup

This section gives you functions to configure the system based on

the specific features of the chipset. The chipset manages bus speeds

and access to system memory resources. It also coordinates

communications between the conventional ISA bus and the PCI bus.

These items should not be altered unless necessary.

The default

settings have been chosen because they provide the best operating

conditions for your system. The only time you might consider making

any changes would be if you discovered some incompatibility or that

data was being lost while using your system.

CPU Frequency

If you are using a 66MHz FSB processor, the available options are

233MHz, 266MHz, 300MHz, 333MHz and Manual. The default is

233MHz. If you are using a 100MHz FSB processor, the available

options are 300MHz, 350MHz, 400MHz, 450MHz and Manual. The

default is 350MHz. This field must be set according to the type of

processor installed on the system board.

If you want to manually set the Front Side Bus frequency and core

ratio of the processor, select Manual. The Front Side Bus Frequency

and CPU Core Ratio fields will appear.

The settings on the screen are for reference only. Your version may not be

identical to this one.
