The Parallel Printer Port on the G586OPC

System Board

Connecting the Parallel Printer Port

Attach the DB-25S printer port cable, which came with
the motherboard, to Connector J7 on the G586OPC
system board. Make sure the colored stripe on the
ribbon cable aligns with pin 1 of Connector J7. Use a
small nutdriver to mount the cable into a DB-25 cutout
in the system chassis.

Floppy Disk Drive Controller

The G586OPC system board has a built-in floppy disk
controller that supports two standard floppy disk drives.
You can install any 720KB/1.2MB/1.44MB/2.88MB
floppy disk drives.
