Installing Expansion Cards

The G486VPC system board is equipped with 6 dedicated 16-bit ISA
slots and 1 shared PCI/8-bit ISA slot. You can only install one card in
one or the other of the shared slots at a time; you cannot install devices
in both slots at the same time. Refer to page 12 for the locations of the
expansion slots.

Note:

The BIOS needs to be configured for the PCI add-in card installed in
the PCI slot. Refer to the “PCI Configuration Setup” presented in the
“Software Installation” section of the manual.
