Chapter 3

ACPI Power Management Configuration

This section is used to configure the ACPI Power Management.

Enables or Disables BIOS 
ACPI Auto Confi guration.

Enable ACPI Auto Confi guration

ACPI Sleep State

Resume by PME
Resume by RTC Alarm

[S3 (Suspend to RAM) ]

ACPI Sleep State

Selects the highest ACPI sleep state the system will enter when the Suspend 

button is pressed.

S1(POS)  Enables the Power On Suspend function.

S3(STR)  Enables the Suspend to RAM function.

Resume by PME

Enable this field to use the PME signal to wake up the system.

Resume by RTC Alarm

When Enabled, the system uses the RTC to generate a wakeup event.



When this feature is set to Automatic, the CPU’s fan speed will rotate according to the 

CPU’s temperature. The higher the temperature, the faster the speed of rotation.
