Port Configuration
If you click on
“
Port Configuration
”
on the menu, the main window displays
the ports operating modes and traffic statistics of specified port. You can
change or monitor them. The main window varies depending on V-LAN
mode setting (port-based or tag-based). The following configuration
parameters are for port-based V-LAN mode.
A . Port Active: enables or disables activation of the specified port
B . Fix Priority Enable: determines the use of priority of the specified port
C . Transmit Priority: determines a transmit priority of the specified port (0:
high, 3: low)
D . Discard Priority: determines dropping priority of a received packet
E . Flow Control: enables or disables Ethernet flow control function of
specified port, which intends to prevent buffer overflow (on: enable, off:
disable)
F . Filter Untag Frame: when enables, drops all the packets without VLAN
tag field
G . Filter Tag Frame: when enables, drops all the packets with VLAN tag
field
H . Mac Limitation: limits the maximum number of learned MAC addresses of
the specified port
I . Ingress Filtering: enables or disables tag filtering for incoming packets
J . Force Untag Out: when enables, removes VLAN tags of outgoing packets
of the specified port
K . Port Statistics: shows traffic statistics of the specified port
