The alarm continues until the gas con-
centration falls back to below the pre-set 
sensitivity level.

Maintenance and cleaning

  

Danger: 

make sure that the gas alarm is 

not live when maintaining or cleaning the 
device.

   Clean the casing of the gas alarm with a 

dust cloth or a damp cloth. Use a mild 
detergent (no solvents) to clean the plas-
tic surface. 

    Remove all deposits of dust from the sen-

sor openings regularly with a brush or an 
air pump. 

    Check regularly that the device is working 

properly (see Function test).

    Disposal

Please take all packaging materials to a dis-
posal facility in your city or district. The recy-

clable packaging materials are selected for 
their ecologically compatible and disposable 
properties. 
Replace the gas alarm after approx. 5 years of 
operation.
In accordance with European Directive 
2002/96/EC on used electrical and electronic 
appliances and its implementation in national 
law, used electrical appliances must be col-
lected separately and recycled in an ecologi-
cally compatible manner.
Please dispose of the alarm at the end of its 
useful life at a disposal facility in your city or 
district. In this way you are meeting your legal 
obligations and making an important contribu-
tion to protecting the environment.

Warranty

This device has a warranty of 3 years from the 
date of purchase. The device was manufac-
tured with care and inspected thoroughly 
before delivery. Please keep your receipt as 
proof of purchase. If you have a claim under
