Code
You can operate your handset on a maximum of ten DECT sys-
tems. You must register the handset on a system before you
can use it to make calls. You may need a PARK (Portable
Access Rights Key) to register, e.g. if the radio ranges of differ-
ent DECT networks overlap, and you always need an authenti-
cation code (AC). Ask the particular system administrator for
the valid code.
Begin all settings in this section by pressing the softkeys

During registration you will have to make the following entries:
Enter PARK
: You only have to enter a PARK if your handset will
be operated on a specific DECT system (e.g. at locations
where the radio ranges of two DECT systems overlap). Press
OK
to skip this entry.
Enter Authent. code
: This is the code that registers your hand-
set.
Note:
If you skip entry of the PARK and the handset reports an
error after entry of the AC, you have either entered the wrong
AC or you do in fact need a PARK to register.
Enter System Name:
Give a name to the DECT system on which
you will be registered. You will always see this on the display
in idle state. See page 22 for details of letter entry.
Enter Local Number
Some DECT systems transmit your reserved
telephone number. If this is not the case, you can enter it here (ask
your system administrator for the telephone number).
