Menu: Setting Telephone Book
You can save a maximum of 40 telephone numbers and
names in the telephone book.
Note: In the telephone list you must scroll backwards and for-
wards between the first and last entry. The entries are not
sorted in alphabetical order.
If a caller’s number and name are listed in the telephone book
and the number is transmitted with a call, the display will show
the caller’s name. Note: If you operate your handset with a
docking station (Accessories, see page 29), the first five
entries of the telephone book are available on the station’s
speed-dialling keys.
Begin all settings with the following softkeys:

Use the arrow key to choose the position in the list in front of
which you want to make an entry, then press
New
. You cannot
shift entries afterwards. The numeric keys automatically
change to letter assignments for name entry (see page 22). You
cannot save a telephone number without a name.
