Illumination
The display is automatically illumi-
nated when calls come in or when
you press a key. The illumination is
switched off again automatically ten
seconds after the last key press.

Display and Menus
The two keys below the display, as
well as the arrow keys, are known as
softkeys. The functions assigned to
the keys are shown in the lowest
line of the display. The key function
changes automatically according to
the operating status of the handset.
Softkey: Arrow Keys
Above the arrow keys there are
symbols indicating their respective
functions:

If a text is being displayed
(e.g. a message), you can
use the arrow key to scroll
up or down.

If a selection is being dis-
played (e.g. telephone book
or menu), you use the arrow
keys to move the cursor and
select the desired item.

Enables the selection from
the redial stack.

When you are entering
names or telephone num-
bers, you can make correc-
tions by moving the cursor.
The arrow keys then move
the cursor to the beginning
or the end of the entry.

you can adjust the volume
