Name input
When saving individual frequency programs or copying a
sequence on a Master chipcard, a name can be entered.
The following describes the possibilities:
The name field offers space for 11 letters.
The device already suggests a name. The existing name
is automatically cleared when the first letter of a new name
is entered.
Should the given name only be completed, then this can be
done pushing the arrow key to the
right before entering the
first character. The cursor will jump behind the given name
and the automatic overwriting by entering the first letter is
suppressed. If single letters should be erased, then this
can be done with the arrow key to the
left ..
The input of the text is done with the numeric keys by re-
peatedly pressing the different keys – similar to the text
input with simple mobile phones without T9 predictive text
technology, e.g. with the
2 -key: a,b,c,A,B,C,2.
